Alphonsus is hiring a dynamic, people-leader to support the Boise
Regional Medical Lab that provides exceptional lab servics to our
patients and providers 24/7.Position Highlights and Benefits:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Biology or Health Related Science field required
- Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS),
Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Medical Laboratory Technician
(MLT) or equivalent certification by the American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required,5 years of relevant experience
required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Must have experience in human relations, communications and
management skillsWhat You Will Do:
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the
Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices,
and decisions. Hires, trains, orients, and promotes teamwork and
mentors department colleagues. Plans, prepares and coordinates work
schedules to provide adequate coverage and efficient use of team to
maintain high department productivity. Plans, develops, prepares
and maintains assigned procedure manuals according to regulatory
requirements.
- Ensures that department or shift personnel provide accurate and
timely testing results in accordance with laboratory
standards.
- Hires, trains, orients, and promotes teamwork and mentors
department staff.
- Ensures that QC testing and proficiency testing is performed,
recorded and evaluated according to established guidelines and that
out-of-control results are resolved in a timely manner. Develops
and/or maintains a quality assurance program that meets all the
requirements of applicable accrediting agencies---Highlights and
