sufficient knowledge to independently perform the primary duties of
the positionMaking, receiving, and directing phone
calls.Maintaining medical records operations by following policies
and procedures; reporting needed changes; accurately filing and
retrieving medical recordsInteracting with admitting areas and
physicians' offices; creates record folders.Answering telephone
inquires appropriately.Ensuring medical record availability by
routing records to physicians and other authorized hospital staff
maintaining chart location system.Assembling medical
records.Analyzes completion of medical records, records all
deficiencies and assigns appropriate area for
completion.Maintaining chart location and deficiency systemsThe
essential function of this job requires attendance at the work
place.Adheres to and supports the established policies of the
facility.Attends continuing education programs specific to area of
